Accidents continue to happen in the mountains every year due to the increase of the hiking population. Most mountain accidents happen in the rough region and makes it difficult for the ground medical support to work. The purpose of this study is to support the decision making in the emergency first aid rescue system with the Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis in the emergency first aid situations by pinpointing the landing points of the mountains first aid helicopters and the dropping points in the event the landing is not allowed. The study region is limited to Kyunggido Pocheon city. The resulting values are categorized into the two groups of the helicopters" landing points and the dropping points within the mountain; the digital map, the forest type map, and the forest soil maps are utilized as the fundamental data. The study has been performed excluding the values of the wind direction and wind speed factor. In the future, it is necessary to raise the analysis efficiency by linking to the database system of the National Weather Service.
