Modern business environments are evolving at a fast pace compared to the rapidly changing IT market environments. In these business environments, retention, maintenance, and management of big data together with the efficient use of IT resources is being emphasized. For companies that are eager to minimize IT-related costs and to manage IT resources flexibly, clouding computing has emerged as a new IT service. To promote cloud computing, it is necessary to quickly conduct technical R&D and design government policies and relevant regulations. In addition, technical improvement and policy establishment should be achieved to systematically increase the coverage of cloud computing technologies. In this study, the status of various government policies related to the promotion of cloud computing at the government level is reviewed. Furthermore, an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis method is used to examine policies that need to be prioritized.
