In recent years, ionospheric behavior forecasts have been made using data assimilation techniques in which observational data are statistically computed and analyzed. In related studies so far, ionospheric variations have been estimated by analyzing the peak electron densities of the ionosphere using foF2 raw data and applying data assimilation techniques. Although a variety of studies have thus been carried out using data assimilation techniques, their results vary widely because of the lack of a standardized analysis method. To address this problem, this paper presents a method for obtaining data statistics using R Project, a statistical computing tool, and analyzing the results. In the proposed analysis method, raw data are displayed in table format using R Project, followed by graphic representation of the extracted data and subsequent analysis. In the comparison of the results yielded by the proposed method and previous studies, it was verified that the graphic outputs of the results obtained using R Project converged with the information provided by various study results.
