The purpose of this study is to suggest the way to set objective standard and basis for music plagiarism problem. It can be done with a music plagiarism analysis method which uses information technology. Music plagiarism meanwhile has been judged mainly by human sensitivity. To do this, a system to measure similarity of two different music contents was designed based on understanding music contents factors. Similarity was measured with a method to compare two MIDI files using Abstract Syntax Tree. Similarity of MIDI files which have 3 different types was analyzed for system verification and its result was shown.
