본 논문에서는 섬유사 붕괴 법 (breaking thread)에 의해 서로 다른 고분자 간의 계면장력을 측정하는 방법에 관한 상세한 실험적인 방법을 설명하였다. 실험에 요한 장비는 고분자를 용융시켜 관찰할 수 있는 hot stage와 이를 확대하여 관찰하는 광학 현미경이다. 측정된 값은 문헌 치와 잘 일치하였다.
