The anti-vibration rubber of a vehicle is component that improves the performance of the vehicle by damping shocks or vibrations from the ground while improving the performance of the vehicle and enhancing the stability of the occupant. The durability life of such a vibration-proof rubber is measured by the single-use endurance test using the normal force and the horizontal force measured in the actual vehicle evaluation, and the life span of the vibration-proof rubber is measured. If this process is followed, the cost and time consuming to develop the anti-vibration rubber compared to the price of the anti-vibration rubber become very large due to the complicated process such as the single durability test, the improvement after the improvement, and the single durability test.
Developed a program that can quantitatively evaluate the durability life of anti - vibration rubber through finite element analysis. The program was developed using the durability formula defined using the relationship between the tearing energy of rubber and dynamic crack growth. The predicted life expectancy using the developed program was compared with the endurance life value obtained from the actual test. As a result, it was confirmed that the reliability of the program was verified through comparison between the predicted value and the result of actual single item test using the anti-vibration rubber endurance prediction program. Using the developed program, it is expected to be useful for the design considering the durability life of the anti - vibration rubber.
