Report Errors
This study aims to analyze determinants and complementarities of the obstacles to technological innovation from Korean manufacturing firms. The results of the multivariate probit model show that there are differentiations of the determinants among industry, size and type of the firm, technological characteristics and degree of engagement in innovative activities. We use data from the Korean Innovation Survey (KIS) to investigate the relationships between firm"s engagement in innovation and their perception of the barriers to innovation and complementarities between those obstacles. These results expect to contribute to establish innovation policy in manufacturing industry.
