In this study, we focused on A family badminton event in the context of storytelling properties. Specifically, we applied the IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) technique suggested by Marta & James (1977) to find ways to vitalize the family badminton event. The family badminton event, which is a research subject, was organized by Korea Council of Sport for All, which has been held for the first time since 2003 and attracted about 1,000 people every year. A questionnaire was conducted for those who participated in the family badminton event and 314 questionnaires were obtained as valid samples. For the analysis of the importance and satisfaction of the 4Cs for the family badminton event, the corresponding t-test was conducted using the SPSS 18. 0 version program. The significance level was .05. The results obtained are as follows. First, the attributes that need to be maintained and managed in the current state includes tress relief, accessibility of the facility, size and sufficiency of the facility, participation procedures and regulations, financial support for hosting the event, compensation for game result and accident insurance for participating in the event. Second, the most important attributes that require improvement efforts are good use of leisure activities, communication among family members, communication between other families, communication with operators and managers of the event. Third, attributes that should not be taken into consideration ta the present time are attributes such as family bond formation, improvement of exercise performance, and promotion of event & construction of information infrastructure. Fourth, the attributes that are over emphasized at present are the family health promotion and the operation of event program.
