A workflow consists of an orchestrated and repeatable pattern of business activity enabled by the systematic organization of resources into processes that transform materials, provide services, or process information. A workflow can usually be described using formal or informal flow diagramming techniques, showing directed flows between processing steps. One of the important point of implementing workflow simulation model is to capture the user’s intention. Therefore, the requirements of the workflow model should be described unambiguously and the implementation of the workflow model should be tested thoroughly respect to the requirements. To describe unambiguous requirements, one can utilize the Safety properties and Liveness properties. The Safety property describes the specific event should never happen in whole event, and Liveness property describes the specific event should occur in whole event. In this paper, we introduce the test method to check the implementation of a workflow model against to the given Safety properties. Specially, we utilize ExtendSim to test requirements of ExtendSim Model which used to simulate workflow.
