The purpose of this study is to examine moderated mediation effect of self-esteem on the Relations between school violence victimization, depression and suicidal ideation. For this, Korean Survey on the Rights of Youth and Children Ⅲ data from 3,281 middle school students was applied. The results are as follows. Firstly, there is no moderated mediation effect of self-esteem in Relations between school violence victimization and depression, school violence victimization and suicidal ideation. Secondly, self-esteem showed the results of moderated mediation effect on the relations between depression and suicidal ideation. This result means that high self-esteem moderated the mediation effect of depression relations between school violence victimization and suicidal ideation. therefore, higher self-esteem level decreases the influence of depression in Relations between school violence victimization and suicidal ideation. On the basis of the results above, the implications on present studies were discussed.
