The purpose of this research is to investigate the background of Overseas Expansion in Korea Musical Industry and entry situation of Korea musical in China, and suggest enhancing the competitiveness of Korea Musical Industry in China musical market.
For successful entry into China musical market, first, to understand with cultural differences about the social institution, culture, emotion in China, the type of license contract and co-production which can reduce cultural differences is recommended. Second, human resource network based on exchange and collaboration should be built with both country. Finally, the government should provide information about oversea market and build the system which can collaborated with China government.
Korea musical production for entering China musical market will be rapidly increased in the future. Musical industry can improve national brand, create high value‐added cultural industries, above all, the high quality contents that can be used globally should be possessed first.
It is considered that this research result would provide musical market a new way of development in future.
