In this study, in order to investigate the formability of AZ61 sheets containing CaO at warm temperature, tensile test, Erichsen test and LDR(Limit drawing ratio)test have been carried out. It has been reported that recently developed CaO containing magnesium alloys could exhibit better performances in terms of processing as well as performance. It has been quite well demonstrated that magnesium alloys containing over 0.3% CaO would show fire proof characteristics during casting. In the present study, formability of AZ61 sheets with CaO addition was investigated at the temperature range of between Room - Temperature and 400℃.
