Through the results of the present study, it is possible to present a trend is a significant indication of the study. To determine the head of household residential occupancy type of pre-crisis (2007) and after the financial crisis (2012) by age group(young adults, middle-aged, middle-aged layer, the elderly). In addition, show human characteristics(gender, marital status, the number of household) in the young and middle-aged layer since the financial crisis than the pre-crisis is the tendency of the influence is weakened given to the choice of occupation type(buying and rent) there. Economic characteristics, the financial crisis earlier, i t showed the greatest effect to select buying in a middle-aged layer of less than 50 years of age more than 35 years of age, after the financial crisis, in all age groups, economic characteristics is showing a tendency to emphasis. Regional characteristics, especially to select the rent than buy in all age groups in the financial crisis earlier, Incheon, but did not have a regional impact in the choice of rent and buy, after the financial crisis Seoul, including the Gyeonggi-do, Incheon also is showing a tendency to choose the lease by middle-aged and middle-aged layer, the elderly. Then, before the financial crisis, the middle-aged (less than 35 years of age or 50 years of age) in the actual use area, to select the rent the greater the use area, the elderly(over 65 years), was selected buy. However, since the financial crisis, in almost all age groups, select the rent, such as when young children"s upbringing and education, spacious and was seen to be living at home, it has been regarded as those that emphasize the utility by using a large area for use than the low area through ownership.
