The main arguments of this paper are the following three. First, chinese noun have a five reduplication types, whichs are AA, AAB, ABB, AABB, ABAB. Second, each reduplication type of chines noun has a their own meaning and the meaning that is based on the nouns basic conceptional meaning. Third, it seems that ABAB type is not typical reduplication, but we claimed that it can be the part of redupication of noun. Therefore, we classified that into two types: word repetition and reduplication of noun . When it used as a word repetition it just has the emphasized function, but when it used as a method of reduplication shows two meanings: increased quantity and descried the situation which are related to the noun’s basic conceptional meaning. On the other hand we claimed that reduplicaion productively applied to chinese noun, and it effects to chinese noun to expand their syntactic function, which are adjectival and adverbial function. In addition when they are used as an adjectival and adverbial, their meaning is still based on basic conpetional meaning. Thereby ABAB type can be consider to a redupication of noun.
