Purpose : The present study attempted to empirically investigate the poverty profile and the determinants of poverty re-entry of the workers with disabilities. Method : Analyses used Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (PSED, Year 1-7). Analysis of poverty profile used the cycle and persistence of wealth and poverty were analyzed by classifying history poverty. And discrete-time hazard analysis were performed to determine the poverty re-entry of the workers with disabilities. Results : 54.1% of disabled worker housholds have experienced poverty within preceding six years at least once, and the results of the classification of theirs poverty history showed poverty types in the following order: persistent poverty, temporary poverty and poverty in cycle. And household charateristics and economic activity factor are the key determinant of poverty re-entry for the people with disabilities. Implications : The implication of the results are follows. First decent job for the disabled need to be increased to reduce poverty. Second, the social safety net needs to be expanded. Third, poverty reduction measures need to be established for the disabled have risk of poverty re-entry.
