With the post-colonial aspect, the recent English literature can be located in the ideological category. Because the "canon" in English literature should be criticized by the post-colonialists. Most of them have continually struggled against English political system and its language as a colonial one. In particular, Edward Said has consistently insisted literature as agent against redressing injustices in the corrupt world and at the same time as something to be re-established and celebrated in his own right. The process of Said's quest for playing colonial language for his literary identity as a critic can be effectively understood by examining the way in which he employs the post-colonialism. Moreover, post-colonialist Spivak born in India tries to find out her identification with the depressed-subaltern woman's speaking in western society. The subjects are linked with the questioning of how to turn to playing the colonial language between English language and english language so called minor language which has been dominated by the ideology of colonialism. The major focus of this essay is to examine the literary language and playing colonial language as well as in how he appropriate language in the post-colonial literature. In this regard, I try to search for the true linguistic attitude which post-colonialists have made every effort to materialize in their criticism. Last but not least, decolonizing English literature can help to maintain the positionality of the decolonial dicourse and the decolonial literature.
