Objective: It is hard to find the materials for model test of the small high-speed planing boat. A model testing of the high-speed boat have a difficult in the performance verification because of very a small the scale-ratio of the ship-model and restricted by flow-velocity of the circulating water channel and X-carriage velocity of the towing tank. Therefore most hull-form design of the high-speed small boat depends on the sea-trial test results of the similar boats or evaluation through numerical calculation by computer software. In this paper he has studied on the anti-rolling effect of stern sub-body in the 50knot class planing boat. To carried out this work, he has set up the method of model test in the real sea-ground. Using this method, he has investigated the oscillation character of stern sub-body for 50knot class planing boat. In conclusion, the planing boat attached a stern sub-body was proved the roll angle and pitch angle to reduce.
