Busan has a significant value as tourism resources and great influence on activation of regional economy because natural beach is positioned near the center of the city. Therefore, this study intends to accurately understand users" desire for desirable operational plan and to deduce effective marketing strategies.
The results of this study are as follows.
According to the IPA result on experiential activities by beach, it appeared necessary to maintain good performance in the future as the importance and satisfaction level of sea bathing, participating in beach festival, appreciating surrounding scenery and landscape, resting on the beach, and nighttime beach amenities were high in common among experiential activities of 4 representative beaches in Busan region. However, it appears proper to differentiate and develop Gwangalli Beach further in the future as it was identified that they consider nighttime beach amenities more importantly and showed higher satisfaction level compare to other 3 beaches.
