Nowadays, oil and gas industry (Oil and Gas) is growing rapidly in accordance with rapid technological advances. Therefore the company should evaluate from the competition to increase production. Therefore the company should evaluate from the competition to increase production. One way is to increase employee productivity and create a safe working environment for employees. Environmental pollution caused by blasting dust can cause permanent changes in lung vital capacity,which is known as silicosis disease. In this study, using cross-sectional approach, the number of respondents in this study were 30 respondents, which were in the blasting area. Data obtained from the questionnaires were processed using SPSS software version 17. The results obtained by analysis of the dust concentration measurements of dust concentration of 1.20 mg/m3 at the starting point of measurement in the blasting area, and measurements on the second point gained 4.98 mg/m3 dust levels. Threshold value specified is 10mg/m3. This indicates that the blasting dust levels are still below the threshold limit value (TLV) specified. Based on Pearson correlation values, each question show the value more than the value of Pearson correlation tables, so it can be concluded each question on the questionnaire valid. If the Cronbach alpha coefficient for the dust to employee relations 0.733 and 0.718 obtained, the results can be said to be reliable. The results of the simple correlation coefficient significance test (t test) values obtained t count> t table (10.47>2.048) and P Value (0.00 <0.05) then Ho is rejected, it indicates significant relationship between the variables x (dust) generated against the variable y (employees). This shows the effect of blasting dust greatly affect the health of employees.
