Objective: The aim of this study is to suggest the procedure editor for the mobile-Computerized Procedure System(m-CPS). The CRI-CPS(Central Research Institute-Computerized Procedure System) has no functionality for the local workers yet, but it will be implemented in the near future. The design requirements and the specifications are proposed for the procedure editor of the m-CPS based from the CRI-CPS. Background: Recently, digital MMIS(Man Machine Interface system) is applied in the Nuclear Power Plants(NPPs). The Computerized Procedures System(CPS) was developed to support the operators for the operating procedures to guides an operator through a complex process and reduce the workload by giving the right instructions, guide the operators in monitoring, decision making, and etc. The CPS can provide the specific information such as the plant data, the plant status, processes the data, and etc. The CPS has a layer and flow structure addition to what the paper-based procedure has. The CPS was based from the paper based procedure, and the development of the m-CPS is based from the CRI-CPS. The Engineering System(the computerized procedure editor) can write the procedural instruction as well as gather the plant information that the operator. After the procedure is installed to the system, the operator can get the live streaming information along with the instructions. These functionality can be performed by the MCR(Main Control Room) Operators and the local workers. Method: The computerized procedure is saved as the data file in the computer and instructions or information are saved into the file. The method for writing the procedure for the mobile computerized procedure shall be different than the computerized procedure because there are more functions to use it. Conclusion: The design requirements and the specifications have discussed in the paper. There could be more to discuss since the actual m-CPS has not been implemented yet. But more human errors can be reduced by the m-CPS and the m-CPS editor once the implementation is taken for granted.
