The purpose of this study was to investigate the awareness of housing supply in the way of social mix and, to explore the future direction of social integration mechanisms. Data was collected through questionnaire from November 2 to 5, 2012. 110 data were analyzed with SPSS statistics 2.0 using frequency, %, t-test, one - way ANOVA, Scheffé test.
The results were as follows : 1) Awareness about Social mix was high and respondents were willing to live in social mix apartment. However, they preferred to choose the general housing than social mix. 2) Residents were reluctant to speak to others about their living in social mix housing. 3) Community program was considered to integrate and to improve separated social atmosphere within social mix housing. In conclusion, the social mix housing supply to solve the social discrimination, and developing community program are highly recommended for social class integration.
