The purpose of this study was to find the housing expectations and needs of residents living inscheduled reconstruction area. As a social survey research, this study used questionnaire, 20 subjects living in 5 scheduled reconstruction area were collected equally from 1st - 5th Nov 2012. 99 data were analyzed by program SPSS 12.0, using frequency, percentage, cross tabulation, factor analysis. Major findings were as follows. 1) The respondents widely agreed with the necessity of reconstruction project, and the most of them wanted starting of the project within 5 years. 2) "Connectivity between Han-river and scheduled reconstruction area" and "Environmentally-Friendliness" among the core concept of reconstruction project were agreed by the respondents widely.
