The purpose of this study was to find out dormitory condition and to analyze satisfaction of foreign students in Korea. A social survey research with questionnaire was conducted. 110 data were analyzed with SPSS PASW 18.0 using percentage, average, t-test and one-way ANOVA. Major findings were as follows. 1)80% of respondents spent more than 6 hours per day and their major activities in dormitory were rest and forming interpersonal relationship. 2)Respondents were satisfied with common spaces like lounge room and cafeteria more than personal spaces. 3)The less time spent in dormitory, the more satisfaction respondents felt satisfaction of ventilation lower than other physical elements.
In conclusion, university related authority should develop common spaces like lounge room and exercise room to meet foreign students" social desire and improve indoor environment like ventilation.
