This study is to analyze a resident`s sense of community and green apartment program needs. The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of life of residents and protect the global environment by expanding the green apartment program. For the method of this study, accomplish to literature review, preceding research analysis and actual investigation using survey. The research is surveyed 4 cases of apartment complex`s residents, the complex is classed as form of possession(a lot-solid apartment, rented apartment) and status of community vitality. To progress survey at August in 2013 and the total of 101 questionaries was analyzed using SPSS 20.0 statistical program. Results of the research can be summarized ad follows, 1) As to the sense of community among apartment residents, 「fellowship」 was effected by status of community vitality. the vitalized complex`s sense of community is more high than the other. To provide opportunities for exchanges between neighbors through community activities, it will be improve the sense of community, and will contribute to the sustainable development of the apartment. 2) Apply to the program differently depending on Socio-demographic characteristics, apartment complex, and the status of sens of community. 3) As to survey, proportion to recognize that progress subject is a resident whole, wishing to participate actively had higher. so, expand the program revolve around resident, may lead to ongoing activities.
