Recently, local government is running an environment improvement business to make pleasant streets, repairing and aligning crosswalks, waterfront and signboards. However, the business has not been so successful due to their lack of consideration about buildings’ outer walls. This happens because Street Environmental Identity, namely the inherent characteristics of the street environment are not delivered to the pedestrians. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to search the region’s current color and characteristics and develop regional color palette. According to the newly found natures and palettes, new and novel street environment plan will be sought. This research is going to be done by following methods: First, according to the references of street environment color, we will find our own analyzing point of view. Second, through our viewpoint we analyze the current street environment and its characteristics. Lastly, on the basis of analyze, we extract main color, and apply theory of color arrangement, thus develop color palette including emphasizing color and sub color. This research, through the plan of street-side building’s environmental color, will be able to seek Street Environmental Identity that accords with the regional characteristics and present condition.
