Korea is the most rapidly aging country in the OECD countries and it entered "aging society" from the year 2010, when 12% of the population is aged 65 years or beyond. The old man problem with population aging are on the rise as social problem. In addition, with the young people population concentration in city and urbanization progress around metropolitan area, the most rapidly aging population in rural villages is increasing. At the current point, the cavitation problems by the aging population and its solutions will be discussed by examining "Marginal village"(literally limited village, a village that has experienced depopulation and in danger of disappearing altogether, largely because more than half of the people living in the village are over the age of 65) in Japan where the population entered "super aged society" much earlier than in Korea.
In this study, the current status, problem of Japanese" Marginal village" and its efforts to resolve this were investigated.
