Korean women have been living in response suppressed by the Confucianism patriarchal society for a long time. In 1960s , right extension movement of women and economic development plan are started, that makes the status of women gradually recovered. After that times, various women polices and awreness of member of society had changed. They get women right. Recently, Ministry of Gender Equality was made, which was foundation of equal treatment society. These also changes residential space. As above, The past korean society was restricted to women"s rights. So, most of women"s life was in residential space. These circumstance mean, policy of women affected to residential space. Additionally, a new form of residence "Apartment" began to spread along with the new policies for women. The form of housing plan has changed meaningfully as time goes by and it was especially related to women"s needs. Focussing on this point, I want to review the steam of residential space changes.
