The Korean elderly population is increasing rapidly in comparing with foreign countries. Aging society appears immediate social problem in Korea. Modern society is exchanged a large family system into nuclear family system and aged person does not live with their son and daughter. Many aged person live alone at the public rental apartments and they spend about 6hours in the elderly community center located in the apartment. The elderly community center is important for the aged person who live alone because they can meet another person and communicate with the people at the center. So, we need to consider about the community center facility of the public rental apartments. In particular, the aged people who live in the rental apartments need the community center because they spend many time at the center. The purpose of this study is to analyze the uses of the elderly community center oh the public rental apartments in Korea and thereby, to provide for some basic data useful to considering the state of the elderly community center of the public rental apartments. 2 elderly community center in the rental apartment in Seoul were sampled, and thereby, a questionnaire survey was conducted for about 20 elderly people.
