The purpose of this study was to identify the conditions and satisfaction of the residential officetel residents. Social survey research with questionnaire was conducted from October 31 to November 4, 2013. Analysis of the data by the SPSS PASW statistics 20.0 program using t-test and ANOVA was done. Major findings were as follows: 1) Officetels were utilized as a temporary living arrangement properly. 2) Easy transportation and proximity to schools or work places were the best reason to choose. 3) Ventilation issues and high maintenance fee were the major elements of complaints of the residential officetel residents.
In conclusion, elaborate floor plan of the residential officetels for the ventilation, differentiated convenient facilities , and management fee are the competitive elements as a residential officetel.
