This study analyzes physical environments of one room housing, and suggests alternative solution for the problems of the one room housing. Based on the problems identified by previous study, some conclusions were derived from site survey and plan analysis. The results of analysis are follows.
First, parking lot makes passengers uncomfortable, narrow space between buidings causes problems in terms of light, ventilation, and privacy. Moreover, short of green space makes living conditions less amenable. Second, narrow passage inside house brings about bad effects on walk and privacy. The living conditions becomes worse due to the illegal remodeling.
