At present, various demands are made by users. Accordingly, interaction design changing according to the change of times, each individual person"s experience, and life style shall be applied to a space. Besides, a residential Space shall become a user experience-centered space. Therefore, this study is intended to examine what method is required in order to enable user experience-centered interaction between user and space, and is intended to suggest that residential Space should be made to create user"s experience as an active place. With regard to research method, we examined the concept and characteristics of user experience-centered interaction design, and minutely looked into cases of space to which interaction design was applied through case studies, and presented a residential Space where a user would interact with a space. According to the results of study, it was possible to find that a user-centered interaction design space was a space where a user"s curiosity was aroused, and a user was made to participate in the program of space in person, accordingly, the user acted spontaneously, and interacted with the space through sense, emotion, thinking, and communication with other people. Above all, various programs are required from user"s viewpoint in order that interaction design is utilized in a residential Space
