The purpose of the study is to find the applicable ways to cultivate domestic urban regeneration experts by examining education and accreditation for the urban regeneration experts in the UK. The study focused on the process where the British universities educate the potential urban regeneration experts after accepting the accreditation from the related institutes and also, inspected related institutes giving the training programs for the members. It is revealed that the British education programs for urban regeneration are closely associated with the other sectors and divided to the two courses: the university educations for the professionals and the institute-direct training for the non-professionals. the former is the way that by acquiring the accreditation from the institutes such as RTPI, RICS, CIH, the universities can grant the qualifications to the person who finishes the accredited courses, the latter is the way that by training the members directly, the institutes(non-university) promote the general awareness and prepare the ground for the urban regeneration. The study can be significant in that it provide the foundations for the appropriate models in Korea by contemplating the British education and accreditation for the urban regeneration experts in the UK.
