This study is to consider the housing information service in Osaka Municipal Housing Information Center. The results are as follows : The center started as counseling and learning places on housing life. And roles of the center have been grown to offer a support of housing and town-planing in order to construct a network hub for citizens, professional associations, NPOs and the like. As it was found that residents’ satisfaction was high, it was confirmed that the center had an important function in the development of the Housing Information Policy. However, it is indicated as a further assignment that the center needs to raise awareness and respond to citizens’ needs which have been specialized.
