The remarkable growth of city population and rate of urbanization are increasing every year rapidly in Korea. On the other hand young people are decreasing and old people are increasing in rural areas. So in 2009, the five Rural New-Town Development Areas were selected by the Ministry for Food, Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries. The development method of Rural New-Towns will create new towns or extend existing towns by 2012 but it’s not use the redevelopment method existing towns. And the floor plans vary in shape but the area size remains the same. The reason that the development condition of a Rural New-Town house area was limited by the government to the economical sized housing(below 100㎡). The important development method of Rural New-Town is the choice to rent or sell the property the Rural New-Town house. This method is different from the traditional development method of rural housing such as Munwha village which sells just the land for the house. So, this Rural New-Town development method will create a harmonious landscapebetween the houses and the regional characteristics
