D. H. Lawrence who was called the priest of love showed the dynamics of gender politics between man and woman in his early poems and Look! We Have Come Through. He described not only the intricate sexuality, eroticism and the power of self between male and female but also the archetypes of man and woman and their daemonic sex that had a far darker power. First, in his early poems, Lawrence who had an oedipal mother, Lydia and victorian-like girlfriends, Jessie and Louie described sex, erotic violence, and sexual personae like femme fatale or homme fatale, which contained fundamentally physiological and metaphorical reasons and biologic realities. Finally, in Look! We Have Come Through which was written after his marriage with Frieda who opened the floodgates of his creativity, Lawrence was quick to sense the power factors affecting relationships between male and female and showed the sexual power and the self-assertion through his own intensified quarrels with Frieda. Because he experienced love, sexual violence, and destruction in his own life which was involved with women like mother, lovers, and wife, Lawrence could express the emotional variables in sexual relationships intensely in his poetry. He who depended on women through his life, also designed sexually extreme opposites from all relationships of man and woman and created the process of struggles that could happen between them and its delicate trembles mystically. It was natural for him to express these, in the point that he was a poet who cherished on emotional health, vitality, instinct, intuition, and spontaneity. As an artist, however, Lawrence used the sexual politics between man and woman which was caused from the tension between Frieda and himself, in creating his art productively. Therefore, his unhappiness in his real life played important and positive roles to his creativity. For he took a vigor, a driving force like fire out of the endless strife between his wife and himself. As a baby was born through sexual violence, so he could give a birth of brainchild through it. He consequentially became a poet who achieved good relationships between sex and creativity and predicted sexual wars of our century, but more than any other poet before him. In this point, Lawrence"s poetry could give constructive and poetic effects and occupy a central position in the history of twenty-first century literature. It was the achievement which was completed from the politics of sexual politics by him.
