This study aimed to present the determinants of the Victory Factor of the soccer game and the useful information for improving athletic performance of Korean soccer. For this purpose, it attempted to collect and analyze the film records of 51 soccer games with a focus on 2013 K-League Classic Suwon and Inchoen home games. To prove the explanatory power of the victory factor, the variables were finally selected through the feature selection node of the SPSS 18.0 Modeler. The Selected variable included the sprint distance at the time of possessing the soccer ball, blocking, PA shooting, total frequency of passes, the frequency of sprints at the time of possessing the ball, the defense-offense interval at the time of defense, right-left width, the time of keeping the defense-offense interval of 30m, and the frequency of the goal keeper’s good defense. This study divided the selected variable into the winning group and the losing group and analyzed the victory through the statistical method. Student’s t-test was conducted with the use of SPSS 18.0 and decision tree analysis was conducted with the use of C5.0. The explanatory wariables selected for of the soccer game victory factor was the continuous variable, and discriminant analysis was conducted to complement the disadvantage thea the result of decision tree analysis might vary acceoding to nodes. The findings of this study were summarized as follows: It was found that there was a significant difference in the sprint distance at the time of possessing the soccer ball, blocking, PA shooting, total frequency of passes, the frequency of sprints at the time of possessing the ball, the defense-offense interval at the time of defense, right-left width between the winning group and the losing group. The results of CHAID algorithm of decision tree analysis showed that in the model of the highest winning rate, the sprint distance at the time of possessing the soccer ball>.787 and the offense interval at the time of defense <=32m was classified as the won game, and the probability of winning was 85.7%. The result of accuracy presented in discriminant analysis was 42/51=82.35%, and the sprint distance at the time of possessing the ball was found to be relatively highest.
