the pronunciation in dictionary was shown in written language. However audio service can be available on electronic dictionary or online dictionary. In this paper, we introduce our guideline for audio service of pronunciation in the <Korea University Korean Dictionary>. In order to make audio recording, 30,000 headwords and their example sentences were selected. These headwords are vocabularies for learning, high frequency words and new words. we selected and modified example sentences suitable to read. All headwords and example sentences were pronounced in Standard Korean. In this process, we should decide the pronunciation of the words which are omitted their pronunciation information in the regulation of Standard Pronunciation of Korean.
