본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 모자류의 연구동향을 분석하여 모자산업계의 생산체계에 실질적으로 활용할 수 있는 기술 자료를 제시하기 위하여 특허청의 특허검색 시스템 ``키프리스``를 사용하여, 모자류의 출원·등록 자료를 분석하였다. 자료의 범위는 출원년도를 기준으로 1970년∼2011년까지의 자료를 검색하였고, 정보검색에 사용된 검색어는 모자, 캡, 햇, 선바이저 등으로 검색하였으며, 특허는 140개의 자료, 실용신안은 408개의 자료, 디자인권은 281개의 자료를 분석하여, 총 829개의 자료를 분석대상으로 하였다. 분석 기준은 특허 및 실용신안은 기능, 외관·패션, 실용성으로 크게 구분하였으며, 기능에는 재료 및 소재, 통풍성, 사이즈 조절, 제작공정, 스마트, 안전, 건강, 형태변형, 레저·스포츠로 나누어 분석하였고, 외관·패션에는 형태와 장식으로 나누어 분석하였으며, 실용성은 사용의 편의성과, 가격효율, 세탁기능으로 나누어 분석하였다. 그리고 디자인권은 형태, 로고·광고·상징, 장식, 기능, 재료·구성·제작방법, 미용·패션으로 구분하였으며, 자료의 분석은 출원년도를 기준으로 10년간 구간을 설정하여, PASW statistics 18.0 통계 패키지를 사용하여 유형별 기술통계와 교차분석을 실시하였다. 출원년도를 기준으로 구간별 내용을 분석한 결과, 특허에서는 형태변형 기능의 모자가 전체 24.3%로 가장많이 출원되었고, 그 다음으로 사용의 편의성이 20.7%, 순으로 나타났으며, 실용신안에서는 사용의 편의성이 전체 22.3%로 가장 많이 출원되었으며, 그 다음으로 형태변형 기능의 모자가 17.9%로 높게 나타났다. 디자인권에서는 기능성을 디자인권리로 출원한 빈도가 전체의 36.3%, 그 다음으로 형태 디자인의 빈도가 32% 순으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to analysis research tendency on hats and give a practical reference to production system of hat industry circles. In detail, we analyze the year-on-year application tendency and technology in patent, utility model and design right of hats among industrial property rights in our country. Data of application and registration in hats were analyzed by using the patent search system ``KIPRIS`` of Korean Intellectual Property Office. Scope of data was based on the year of application. Data from 1970 to 2011 were searched. The search words, which were used in information retrieval, were searched with hat, cap, sun visor and others. It analyzed 140 materials for patent, 408 materials for utility model, and 281 materials for design right. Thus, totally 829 materials were allowed to be analytical subjects. In terms of the analytical standard, the patent and utility model were analyzed by being largely divided into function, external appearance·fashion, and practicality. Function was analyzed by being divided into material & matter, ventilation, resizing, manufacturing process, smart, safety, health, deformation, leisure·sports. External appearance·fashion was analyzed by being divided into form and decoration. Practicality was analyzed by being divided into the use convenience, price efficiency, and washing function. And the design right was classified into a form, logo·advertisement·symbol, decoration, function, material·composition·manufacturing method, beauty culture·fashion. Data analysis was established the 10-year section based on the year of application. Descriptive statistics and cross tabulation by pattern were carried out by using PASW statistics 18.0 statistical package. As a result of analyzing the section-based function based on the year of application, the patent was made patent application the most with 24.3% of the whole in hat with function in deformation. The next was indicated the use convenience with 20.7% in order. The utility model was made application the most with 22.3% of the whole in convenience of use. The next was indicated to be high with 17.9% in hat with function in deformation. The design right was indicated the frequency of having made application for functionality as design right with 36.3% of the whole. The next was indicated the frequency in form design with 32% in order.
