자발적 전경골건 파열은 매우 드물어 당뇨, 류마티스 질환 등의 기저 질환이 있는 경우나 국소 스테로이드 주사의 기왕력이 있는 경우 발생할 수 있으나 건내 결절종에 의해 발생한 완전 파열은 보고된 바 없다. 이에 저자들은 외상력 및 특이 기왕력 없는 39세 여자 환자의 건내 결절종에 의한 자발적 전경골건의 파열 1예를 경험하였기에 이를 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.
