2014 년 4 월 TTA 에서 개정된 “ HTML5 기반 스마트 TV 플랫폼(TTAK.KO-07.0111/R1)” 은 적응형 스트리밍 서비스를 지원하기 위한 기술로 MPEG-DASH 표준을 준용하고 이를 기반으로 추가적인 기술 요구 사항을 정의하고 있다. 또한, 이러한 기술 요구 사항에 대한 적합성 시험을 위하여 “ HTML5 기반 스마트 TV 플랫폼 수신기 적합성 시험(TTAK.KO-07.0119/R1)” 표준에 적응형 스트리밍 기술 요구 사항 관련한 시험 기준, 수행 절차, 판정 기준 등이 추가되었다. 이에 TTA 에서는 “ HTML5 기반 스마트 TV 플랫폼” 표준을 준수하여 개발된 스마트 TV 의 적응형 스트리밍 기술 요구 사항에 대한 표준적합성을 검증할 수 있는 시험환경을 구축하였다. 본 논문에서는 TTA 에서 구현한 적응형 스트리밍 적합성 시험환경에 대해 소개한다.
