『Seonmunyeomsongjip(禪門拈頌集)』 is a Buddhist scripture compiled by Suseonsa(修禪寺) and shows the originality of Korean Zen Buddhism. It also is a basic text that tells us how Suseonsa understood the Zen Buddhism of the Sung Dynasty and how it accepted the Zen of Discourse. This study was a basic literature study of 『Seonmunyeomsongjip』 focused on comparing it to 『Seonmunyeomsongjip (禪宗頌古聯珠集)』. The following summarizes the influence and meaning of 『Seonjongsongoyeonjujip』 in regards to the compilation of 『Seonmunyeomsongjip』. First, 『Seonmunyeomsongjip』 included the scriptures of Buddha, India, and China. It particularly organizes the footnotes of old scriptures from the Tang Dynasty to the Sung Dynasty. This composition is basically same as that of 『Seonmunyeomsongjip』. Second, among the footnotes of 『Seonmunyeomsongjip』, interpretation was almost completely quoted from 『Seonmunyeomsongjip』. The number of quotation of footnotes was the greatest for Bonyunginyong(保寧仁勇) (90times), followed by Seoldujunghyeon(雪竇重顯) (76times), DaehyeJongo(大慧宗고) (63times), Jukamsagyu(竹庵士珪) (59times), Haeinchosin(海印超信) (49 times), Tendongjunggak(天童正覺) (46times). Most of them were from Imje Order(臨濟宗) of the Sung Dynasty. Third, 『Seonmunyeomsongjip』 included explanation and prayers not found in 『Seonmunyeomsongjip』. Among the texts not delivered previously, many of them were from the late North Sung and early South Sung Dynasties. Among the many orders, Yanggi Sect of Imje Order was valued.
