Many researches have explained the pioneer effects(first-mover effects) in the market. The advantage of the market pioneer has shown its prototype as consumers` reference point. In most research, High preference, strengthen brand loyalty via building switching barrier and increasing efficiency due to high volume of consumers` use has demonstrated as a result of that. In this study, the benefit of company which is a first mover(market pioneer) has investigated. The case of t-monet Inc. dominated in the mobile payment business these days were examined accordingly. T-monet Inc. was able to get the efficiency of maintenance of consumers` preference through building switching barrier, increasing consumers` utility with network externality as first move in mobile payment business. This caused the advantage of continuous market pioneer with t-monet Inc. strategy. This effect of Market pioneer could achieve based on ongoing pursuit of t-monet Company`s strategic innovation. The importance of Market pioneer and strategy of the company was paid attention in this study. In addition to this, the current success of Market pioneer in t-monet Inc. needs to be considered thoroughly to move forward in the future.
