While the aggregate demand for electronic goods has nationally been on the constant decrease since 2012, retail distribution dealing in electronic goods has become supersaturated and distributors are fiercely competing with one another to make a sale and attract customers. To meet this challenge, electronic goods distributors try to improve store management and make better performance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the causal relationships among the qualitative factors affecting performance of stores in search of a breakthrough in managing electronic goods retail stores. The theoretical framework of the Balanced Scored Card (BSC) suggested by Kaplan and Norton was used to determine the causal relationships. This study aims to make organizational members understand an efficient work process and proceed in one direction with the objective of improving performance. Checking the value creation process model would help electronic goods distributors establish an efficient management strategy. A survey was conducted in 267 persons at 72 retail stores of S Electronics. The partial least squares(PLS) path model, one of the structural equation models, was used to determine the relationships. The causal relationships among the concepts directly and indirectly affecting performance of electronic goods retail stores were reviewed. The first attempt was made to check the value creation process model for electronic goods retail stores.
