In the Flower and Fruit Mountain region of Henan Province, Yiyang County, the worship of the Monkey King has for a long time in a popular, It"s time should be later than the emergence of XiYouJi. This has important reference value for the study of XiYouJi in the spread and impact of civil society. In the Ming and Qing period, the worship of the Monkey King is very popular among the people, not only a wide range, and very prosperous. To time, most production time is later than the XiYouJi novel’s appearance, and some produce very early, even more earlier than XiYouJi. The Government is opposed to the grand, pious worship of Monkey King in the civil, that it harm the local stability, and immoral, to combat it. However, the effectiveness of this ban is temporary, cannot make the Monkey King worship disappeared.
