Fall is a health hazard factor which is prone to the older people [1][3][4][5]. Factor contributing fall to occur are divided to physical, psychological, and environmental factors[4]. In this paper, we developed long-term data collection devices to establish fall detection algorithm and evaluate consideration accordingly. We select the functions of device and finally select the specifications of the device based on functions and considerations[3]. In this study, we test the device in normal operating conditions. Consequently, result is normally measured within determined specification range. With result of this study, the developed device is validated. Therefore, the developed device will be helpful in research related to elderly people’s fall.
