The main purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the articles and photos in the coverage of 10 Korea newspapers during 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics, then to enable people to construct the desirable image on Olympics and Paralympics. For the completion of this study, the total articles and photos in the coverage of 10 Korea newspapers during 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics have been used to analyze. The results are followings. First, the number of the total articles and photos during 2012 London Olympics were reported much more than those during 2012 London Paralympics. Second, in the number of the total articles and photos on male during 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics were reported much more than those of female. Third, in the characterized form of the photos during 2012 London Olympics athletes` upper body was described more than athletes` face or whole body whereas in the characterized form of the photos during 2012 London Paralympics athletes` whole body was described more than face or upper body. Fourth, in the disability from of athletes during 2012 London Paralympics not known was portrayed more than wheelchair users or athletes with amputation. Fifth, active athletes in photos were described more than not active athletes in the newspapers during 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics. Lastly, images of Olympics in the articles were described with challenge, strong, athletic performance, attitude, and emotion whereas images of athletes with disabilities were described on challenge and hope, overcoming the limitation, appearance with disability, and social minorities. In addition, image of male athletes was reported on strong athletes, athletes having fight performance whereas image of female was reported on beautiful athletes, princess and fairy, middle aged women or female athletes giving emotion.
