The purpose of this study was suggesting the basic materials for figuring out how the formal mentoring should be done, through analyzing the degree of player`s satisfaction and exercise commitment under the new method of mentoring on the taekwondo in the high school class. This study was done through the method of questionnaire on the high school students who participated in the nation-wide taekwondo competition, and the total number of 287 students answered to the questionnaire, and the results that are extracted from it was used for the actual analyzation. The statistical materials were acquired by frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, correlation, One-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis, and Scheffe, according to the objectives. And the next was the conclusion. First, regarding the background factors, the class difference of mentoring emerged according to the psychological social function and role model, winning-prizes difference of mentoring emerged according to the career development function, grade exercise commitment difference of mentoring emerged according to the perceived absorption degree and the degree of behavioral absorption, and the winning-prizes difference of mentoring emerged according to the behavioral absorption. Second, mentoring regarding the degree of exercise commitment and player`s satisfaction suggested all the positive meaningful relations. Third, the role model function affected the perceived-absorption, and the function of career development and role model affected the behavioral absorption. Fourth, the function of career development and role model affected the degree of accomplishing the tasks that was assigned and guiding behavioral satisfaction.
