This study had results from meditation and combined exercise program for older women. The program was conducted 80minutes, 2times a week for 24weeks. The results were as following. First, there is a statistical difference in body composition, such as maximum oxygen consumption per kg, lean body mass, and muscle mass in legs and arms, in the after exercised group. Second, there is a statistical difference in activity fitness, such as 2 minutes step, lift dumbbell, chair stand, chair sit-and-reach, hold hands behind back, and 244cm walk back and forth, in the after exercised group. Third, there are statistical differences in successful aging indicators. Objective indicators, such as diastolic blood pressure and HDL-C, have the difference and subjective indicators, such as self regulating life, desire of perfection of self, positive participation in life, satisfaction of ones children, acceptancy of self, acceptancy of others, also have the difference in the after exercised group. From the above, regular meditation and combined exercise program improved in body composition and activity fitness. Especially, this program can contribute to a successful aging policy as an effective exercise method.
