The purpose of this study was to investigate how related psychological needs, participation satisfaction of athletics competition and continuous participation in old adults who participating in athletics competition. The data collected from 253 old adults who participating on athletics competition in Seoul. For analysis, frequence analysis, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach`s α, correlation and covariance structure analysis were used by the computer using the statistics program SPSS 15.0 and Amos 7.0. The results of this study can be acquired as follows; First, psychological needs factor(autonomy, relationship) had a influence on participation satisfaction of athletics competition. Second, psychological needs factor(autonomy, relationship) had a influence on continuous participation. Third, participation satisfaction of athletics competition factor had a influence on continuous participation.
