This study has been executed to examine the effect of proper physical activities and special physical education programs on the psychological development and behavioral development abilities of children with developmental disorder as applying those children with those programs for 16 weeks. The 10 subjects were selected among ones who had diagnosed with developmental disorder around the S Developmental Center for Children and the study was executed with the 60 minute classes twice a week for 16 weeks. Using the Psychoeducational Profile-Revised testing tools, the psychological development and behavioral development ability tests were executed as separating `before` from `after` for the 7 psychological scale abilities (imitation, perception, small-muscle activities, large-muscle activities, eyef·hand coordination, language ability perception) and 4 behavioral scale activities (relationship and emotion, play and interest on the playing and testing materials, sensory reaction, language). The following conclusion was got after analyzing the relationship between the psychological development ability and behavioral development ability by groups based on the data drawn from each test. First, the physical activity and special physical education programs showed as improving the psychological development ability of children with developmental disorder with significant difference among groups. Second, the physical activity and special physical education programs showed as affecting the positive effects on the behavioral development ability of children with developmental disorder with significant difference. In conclusion, to improve the psychological development and behavioral development for the children with developmental disorder, it is needed to develop special physical education programs considered with the various and proper physical activities and developmental ages and to study for the sustainable and specific solutions.
